We purpose to reflect Christ in our interactions. We reinforce the importance of studying, understanding and living the gospel. Biblical principles and Christian character are integrated into lessons.
Keyboarding is part of our curriculum. Typing ability is critical to computer literacy and a skill needed to effectively complete homework, projects, papers and eventually meet the demands of college and the workforce.
We use The Heggerty Framework for Foundational Skills in reading remediation and instruction. Our strategies build on this foundation by integrating phonics and, in older grades, vocabulary and comprehension strategies, ensuring a well-rounded approach to literacy.
